As signalled a few months ago, we're constantly seeing organizations solving the same core problems over and over again when building out their cloud platforms.
Starting immediately, Cloudize will begin the work of producing a suite of Platform Services that are expertly designed, developed, and tested to address these specific needs.
Our immediate focus will be on the base core services that provide the foundation of modern cloud platforms. Composability will be a key focal area during the design phase, as customers' ability to easily compose these services into their platforms will deliver them with a force-multiplying effect.
At this stage, we are committed to delivering and publishing the following services within the next few months. However, several other services are being actively developed, and we expect to publish them once they reach sufficient maturity.
Each service will be fully documented on our website and released as and when it becomes generally available.
The Auth service will deliver the core authentication (and authorisation) capabilities required by modern cloud platforms with advanced role and user group administration capabilities.
This service will be delivered as a Cloud Service or, in the case of our enterprise customers, will be deliverable on-prem.
The Webhooks service will deliver the ability to trigger or schedule events to be executed either immediately or at any time in the future. Each event will be able to include a list of subscribers to the event (for both success and failure), which, in turn, will be notified of the result of the event once it is executed.
We're very excited about this service as it drives event processing functionality back into APIs (as opposed to background processes), which is where our core super-power exists and, therefore, enables that stream of work to benefit from our development acceleration technologies.
This service will be delivered as a Cloud Service or, in the case of our enterprise customers, will be deliverable on-prem.
The Notifications Service will deliver the ability to send email notifications through upstream ESPs with built-in failover capabilities to ensure continuity of service in the case of upstream outages. The service will provide the ability to send messages for immediate delivery or, where use cases require, to schedule deliveries for a future date.
This service will be delivered as a Cloud Service or, in the case of our enterprise customers, will be deliverable on-prem.
We are very excited about delivering these composable capabilities to the market. These are just the first steps in this journey, and customers can expect the service offerings to be extended considerably in the years ahead.
