Cloudize API Framework Version 25.1 Release
We're delighted to announce the release of Version 25.1 of the Cloudize API Framework today.
This release is a maintenance release that primarily updates the underlying dependencies within the framework to the latest, or near-latest versions. In particular, the default NodeJS dependency has been updated to version 24.
The framework has achieved a high degree of maturity and stability, and the requirement for rapid and aggressive changes is now well behind us. This is a great position to be in, and our core focus is now on leveraging the technology to release new services to the market within our businesses.
The next release is currently expected to be released for the second quarter of 2026. At this stage, the primary epic we expect to deliver within that release is support for our new AI Search capability within the API technology. This feature has been on our backlog for a considerable period; however, we haven't had a tangible use case for this requirement to date, and given the extreme evolution [and volatility] within the AI space, we really wanted to take a step back and see where things would land before committing to an approach.
We now have an evolving requirement for this capability, and will look to design an elegant and flexible solution to what is quite a complex problem.
