We're delighted to share that we have released Version 23.3 of the Cloudize API Framework today.
As mentioned in our previous release notes, this release is a maintenance release that primarily updates some important dependencies. In addition to those updates, a small technical change was made to the compiler options for all packages within the framework. The only other notable change was a small change within the logic that validates access permissions on included secondary resources within a read query.
Our next release is currently scheduled for Q2 in 2024, and at this stage, the primary epic we expect to deliver will be support for Field Level Encryption. This feature has been on our backlog for a considerable period, but we've never seen a practical use case for the feature.
That has now changed, and we're very excited to offer this feature as it will offer the concept of key shredding, which delivers applications that are required to offer its users the "right to be forgotten" an elegant solution to this complex problem.
